Technical Assistance is now available in Harford and Cecil Counties

What is Technical Assistance and how can it help you?

1. This is a free service provided under a grant from the Maryland State Department of Education.

2. Providing assistance to childcare providers with program start-up.

3. Providing information on Accreditation & Credentialing.

4. Working with programs/providers that are referred to the Child Care Resource and Referral Center for the purpose of achieving regulation compliance.

5. Supporting providers who care for Children with Special Needs.  Helping providers to assist parents, making program accommodations, meeting IDEA and ADA requirements and providing additional resources within the region.

6. Behavioral Issues.  The Technical Assistant will offer support and/or recommendations to the providers on handling situations professionally, disciplining effectively and relaying information to parents in a positive manner.  Referrals to additional resources may also be available.
